A good rice cooker can produce rice of a higher quality than what you are able to achieve on the stovetop, allowing you to focus on preparing other aspects of your meal even if you consume a lot of rice or if you are just tired of making it there. If you eat a lot of rice or if you are just tired of making it there. The only thing that is required of you is to measure out the ingredients precisely so that the rice and porridge come out properly cooked. Yet, since there are many various brands and technology, it might be difficult to determine which rice cookers are worth the money you have spent.
The Mini Rice
Because of its little size, the Mini Rice Cooker is both convenient and portable to use. Rice of any sort may be cooked to perfection in quantities ranging from 2 to 6 cups. When the rice is cooking on the bottom, the meat and veggies may be steamed.
Since it has a coating that prevents sticking, it is simple to clean and the rice does not adhere to the pan to any significant degree. Easy operation with only one touch and an integrated keep-warm function. Excellent in a wide variety of dishes, including soups, jambalaya, and chili.

Cuckoo CRP-P1009SW Rice Cooker
The Cuckoo CRP-P1009 is the only rice cooker we found that consistently produced flawlessly cooked, chewy, flavorful grains of sushi rice. Furthermore, it gets the job done faster than the other rice cookers we tried since it’s a pressure cooker. Brown rice can be prepared in approximately half the time using the Cuckoo compared to the Zojirushi, according to certain testing. Our batches of brown rice came out pretty al dente, but not unpleasantly so, so you may need to adjust the quantity of water in your recipe if you like softer brown rice. Our beautiful long-grain rice probably turned out a little mushy because of the pressured cooking. While the Cuckoo is expensive and only available in a 10-cup capacity, it is our go-to recommendation for frequent, large-batch cooking of short- or medium-grain white and brown rice.
Hamilton Beach Rice
If you’re looking for cheap, high-quality white rice, go no further than the Hamilton Beach Rice and Hot Cereal Cooker. The rice was better than several of the more expensive models we tried, and although it wasn’t as soft or well-separated as what we got from the Zojirushi or the Cuckoo, it was still quite good. Furthermore, the Hamilton Beach can produce a respectable quantity of white rice in around 35 minutes, which is much less time than our top option. It also has delayed cooking and brown rice settings, however our brown rice was undercooked.

Toshiba 6-Cup Rice Cooker
You probably already know that Zojirushi manufactures the greatest rice cookers, but that doesn’t mean you should buy one. Many home chefs cannot afford to spend so much. The Zojirushi is costly, but there are cheaper alternatives like the Toshiba 6-Cup Rice Cooker that perform similarly. The ability to steam veggies or eggs within the basket, among other prized Zojirushi features, is replicated here, and the Toshiba is also somewhat speedier, which is a bonus if you’re pressed for time. It’s cheaper than other, less complex rice cookers, but it’s also more likely to produce perfectly cooked rice (rather than sticky rice if you don’t measure the rice to water ratio precisely) than the former. Fans of Toshiba appliances especially love that the inserts in this cooker can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
